Details:

• 24 hour call coverage (7a-7a)
• Setting: Inpatient
• FTE: 1.0
• Duties: inpatient general gastroenterology coverage
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: Hospital staff trained in GI.
• Reason for coverage: 2 locums beginning 6 month break.

Additional Information Provided by Client

• Census varies but is typically low, 6 pts has been the max and it only got that high once.
• ERCP skills are not necessary pts can be transferred to a hospital where our group practices and has a physician to provide that service.
• Gen GI procedural privileges and inpatient consults are what we are looking for currently.

Credentialing Information:

• Timeframe: about 2 months
• Credentialing with other facilities? No

• Board Certified Gastroenterology - REQUIRED
• Active IA license - REQUIRED OR IMLC (LOQ IN HAND AT TIME OF SUBMISSION)
• Gastroenterology Fellowship - REQUIRED
• Must state availability for open dates listed in Job description - REQUIRED
• Disclose if provider has worked at any other CHI/dignity facility - REQUIRED
• COVID VACCINATED - REQUIRED
