The Financial Analyst II provides advanced financial and operational support for the Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska (BHECN), with responsibility for complex financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management of multiple funding sources, including state appropriations, grants, foundation funds, and program-generated revenue.
This position independently performs and oversees financial functions that require interpreting University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as applicable federal, state, and sponsor regulations. The Financial Analyst II serves as a key resource to leadership by providing data-driven insights, financial recommendations, and strategic guidance to support program sustainability and compliance.
The role requires a high level of autonomy, technical expertise, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex funding environment. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and effective stewardship of public and private funds while supporting high-volume transactional processes and continuous improvement of financial operations.
